Floyd Beaumont and the Arkadelphians
There are many rumors and legends about Floyd Beaumont.
Is it true that he left his hometown of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, to travel the deep south with the famous Doc Samuel O’Barley’s “medicine show”? Did he grow up in the sultry Deep Elem district of Dallas and learn guitar from Blind Buddy Norwood? Did he really record on the Goldbird label with Johnnie Rodgers and the Bowmore Brothers?
No matter how much of it is true or legendary: the band Floyd Beaumont & The Arkadelphians was formed at the end of 2009 in Geneva by four friends who share a love for the blues. They specialized in the interpretation of various varieties of pre-war acoustic blues.
Floyd Beaumont & The Arkadelphians’ music draws on the tradition of American music and displays its varied influences: harsh Mississippi Delta laments and white hillbilly boogie; sophisticated urban swing, gospel fervor and rural string band authenticity. Playing on a street corner or in the spotlight, Floyd Beaumont’s blues resonates with the rich heritage of this music.
The main influences of this group are the artists of the 1920s to 1950s, such as bluesmen Son House, Blind Willie McTell, Robert Johnson, Bukka White, Tampa Red, Howling Wolf, Muddy Waters, Kokomo Arnold, Blind Willie Johnson or the Mississippi Sheiks and the country artists Hank Williams, Bill Monroe, the Stanley Brothers and the Delmore Brothers.
Floyd Beaumont & The Arkadelphians is composed of:
Floyd Beaumont – vocals, acoustic and slide guitars, mandolin, banjo, fiddle.
“Slapping” Ralph Cornaz – double bass
David “String-picker” Courby – acoustic and slide guitars, banjo.
Stéphane “Charlyson” Turin – harmonica
Steve “Rattlebrained” Litsios – washboard, rhythm bones, other percussion, vocals.
Together, they will deliver for your enjoyment their own style and unique musical blend: true American Roots Music.

PLAN H150 is a collective of Brazilian music in the styles rock, pop, reggae and disco. Formed in 2019 and performing since September 2021, the band has gone from the student scale to the Lausanne scene, to now perform throughout Switzerland. Since its creation, the objective of the group is the same: to represent the Brazilian culture overseas, to share moments of joy and complicity with their community, and especially to have fun on stage between musicians of different cultures but united in the common universe of the music.

Trixie Trainwreck shreds her guitar and jams on her bass drum and hi-hat while Charlie Hangdog blows his brains out on the harmonica. They take it as it comes and play it as it is. Because they have to. And a lifetime of doing things their own way led their paths to cross and create one hell of a sound.
Founded in London and based in Berlin, Germany, Trixie and the Trainwreck have released 1 full length album “3 Cheers to Nothing” (2018) with Bruce Brand (Milkshakes, Thee Headcoats, The Masonics) on drums and Paul Seacroft on lapsteel, as well as another 7″ Single “Too Good to be Blue/ Get Busy Living” (2019) on Voodoo Rhythm, toured all over Europe with Bonn Stomp, Voodoo Rhythm Circus, 100 Club (London), Lido (Berlin), Muddy Roots Cookeville, Tennessee, Supporting Holly Golightly, Detroit Cobras, Bob Log III, etc and have been broadcast and reviewed on WFMU, blues matters, Radio Eins, Resonance FM, and many others, but who’s counting… they’re doing pretty well and doing the best they can with what they have. And for a 2-piece band, that’s a lot.
